3. How to Set Up Webmaster Tools For Your WordPress Website?

Setting up Google Webmaster Tools is a pretty easy and fast process. It shouldn’t take you more than 10-15 minutes and it doesn’t require advanced technical knowledge. What you will need for sure to install it is your Google account and access to your WordPress administrator panel.


So, let’s start:

  1. Visit Google Webmaster Tools.
  2. Sign in using any of your Google accounts info (Gmail, Google Analytics, etc.).
  3. When you’re signed in, click thADD A SITE button on the right.


  1. Type in the URL of your website and click continue.

  1. Now, choose the method of verification.

There are four of them:

  • Upload an HTML File to Your Server
  • Add a Meta Tag to Your Site’s Home Page
  • Use Your Google Analytics Account
  • Add a DNS Record to Your Domain’s Configuration
